Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Sophie and Ryan, it started at work—high above the clouds. Sophie is a stewardess and Ryan a pilot (now captain) in Canada, and together they’ve spent years flying across continents, discovering new cultures and landscapes along the way.

Hidden deep within the rainforest of Savusavu, beneath the cascading beauty of Vuadomo Waterfall, a love story unfolded in the most magical way. With a breathtaking, thoughtfully curated setup by Emaho Sekawa Resort, what began as a scenic waterfall adventure turned into a fairy-tale proposal surrounded by lush greenery, golden light, and the sound of rushing water — a moment suspended in paradise, and the beginning of forever.

Sonja and Thomas are German Nationals based in Bejing. They decided after ten years together to tie the knot.
They chose the intimate Emaho resort, near the town of Savusavu on the magnificent Vanua Levu Island, where they were above the clouds, the sea, river and forest. The sun shined for the ceremony.

Bettina and Joe came all the way from Germany to discover the Fiji Islands and to celebrate their wedding at Koro Sun Resort. The day before they tied the knot we went to Nakawaga Waterfall for a pre-wedding photo session. It was a great way to get to know each other and was a lot of fun.
