FAQs

Here is some help to answer to the most common questions…

  • As soon as possible: check with me for availability even if you haven’t booked your venue yet.

  • First of all remember: it’s your wedding day and happiness makes people beautiful. I know how to capture that. You actually are looking great in picture – you just don’t know it! I have also written a few tips for your wedding. Read it: it will help.

  • Ideally as a photographer I would say at sunset time: the light is ideal and it will look beautiful. Because of many reasons it can be difficult so I will totally adapt to your time.

  • There is a few images I see in b&w so you will have some. If you require specific filters then I let me know and I will do that for you. My style (go through the images in my galleries) is generally quite contrasty and punchy colours.

  • You will see the photographs before anyone else about 10 to 15 days after your wedding. Then I will upload them online in a private gallery for your guests to see and so you can let me know which one you prefer to keep only for you.

  • It all depends on your package and most of all for me what matters is that there is enough to tell the story of your day. The longer the coverage is, the more images I will give you.

Approximately I will give you a minimum of 300 images for 3 hours coverage, a minimum of 400 images for 5 hours coverage, a minimum of 600 images for 7 hours coverage, and a minimum of 800 images for 9 hours coverage.

  • Yes: all the images are yours. You can’t use them for promotional purpose unless we discuss it and I can’t use them (for my website, social medias or portfolio) unless you give me the authorisation. We will sign a contract mentioning that.

  • No: they are 100% yours.

  • Yes: I give you all the files in web and print quality in 2 different folders.

  • No: I edit and photoshop all the files with love and patience one by one, so I won’t give you any raw files. It’s important for me to give you a finished and polished product.

  • If you ever lose the files I can ensure that I will still have them in 15 years: I save all of them in different places and mediums for years. To preserve your memory is my mission.

  • Yes: every wedding is different, so if your wedding is on 2 days or if your require me for a specific time I will adapt it for you with great pleasure.

  • We will discuss that before the wedding and organise a B plan. A nice umbrella can be a solution if there is just a few drops. Otherwise there are plenty of beautiful indoor locations. If it’s cloudy, don’t worry: it will give a beautiful soft light that will soften the lines on your faces.

  • Cameras are a Nikon D5 and D750 (just in case I like to have 2 with me).

    Lenses are 24-70mm F2.8 G ED, 50mm F1.4, 14-24mm F2.8 G, 70-210mm F4-5.6.

    And… I’m a Mac fan!

  • Yes: you and I will sign a contract. It basically protects from losing your money if I am sick to death and can’t cover your wedding: I commit to refund the money and will help you to find someone else (I know plenty of talented photographers who have a similar style as mine). It also gives you the copyrights, it details what your package includes and doesn’t include.

  • As soon as you book me you will need to pay 30% of the total as a deposit. The rest will need to be paid one month before the wedding. You can pay monthly or weekly transfers if you like.
