A Romantic Elopement in Paradise: Mandy and Rod’s Turtle Island Wedding
As a wedding photographer in Fiji, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most intimate and beautiful love stories, and Mandy and Rod’s elopement at Turtle Island Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. Their decision to elope wasn’t just a getaway—it was a celebration of a new chapter, blending simplicity, elegance, and the magic of Fiji’s breathtaking beauty.
Honeymoon at Namale with Trash the dress at Savusavu Sand bar
Ted and Kelly’s Namale honeymoon was pure magic — from a dreamy “Trash the Dress” shoot on a remote sandbar to golden hour portraits at their rainforest villa. A celebration of love, laughter, and stunning island beauty.
Waterfall wedding at Namale and underwater session at the Savusavu Sand bar, Fiji
The sandbar near Savusavu is absolutely stunning. It’s such a surreal background! Victoria and Howard have done a few photo sessions together before but wanted something different. We certainly did it!
Underwater at Cloud 9 and Sunset at Natadola, Fiji
Jessica and Pete came all the way from Scotland for a couple of weeks of holidays in Fiji. The two locations option was a must for them to capture two totally different scenery of Fiji but both very iconic of what the Fijian landscape can offer.
Underwater and sunset photo session at Likuliku
Caitlin and Vitaly came form the States to celebrate their honeymoon. They chose to stay at Likuliku island resort for 12 days and did not regret it! It gave them time to get scuba diving certified, which was a big step for Caitlin because she was more a bird rather than a fish.
Surprise proposal in Natadola beach, Fiji
Mustafa and Simone during their well-deserved holidays in Fiji (after two Covid years in Melbourne filled with endless lockdowns…) wanted to do a couple photo sessions. Simone had a vison with some hot/sexy shots along the beach, split shots (over/under) and a few underwater for herself (Mustafa being not very confident under).
Underwater couple and Solo photo session at Cloud 9, Fiji
One of my passions is underwater photography: I am getting so much pleasure out of these mermaid sessions. Cloud 9 is a floating bar in the middle of the sea at the Malolo barrier reef, its pristine water (located 50 minutes boat ride from Denarau marina in Nadi) is the perfect location for an underwater photography session.
Photoshoot at Nakawaga Waterfall, Savusavu, Fiji
Bettina and Joe came all the way from Germany to discover the Fiji Islands and to celebrate their wedding at Koro Sun Resort. The day before they tied the knot we went to Nakawaga Waterfall for a pre-wedding photo session. It was a great way to get to know each other and was a lot of fun.
Wedding anniversary photoshoot at Natadola
Amanda and Dave left their children back home in the USA to enjoy a holiday together is Fiji. They went sailing, snorkeling and went road tripping. They enjoyed some romantic dinners and took the opportunity to do a photo session…
Underwater and sand bar Photoshoot in Fiji
Melissa and Jason came from the USA to Fiji to sail and dive the most beautiful reefs they could find. That underwater photoshoot in Fiji was a must do! They had a couple of transition days in Nadi so took the opportunity to do a couple photo session. They were good swimmers and took my advice on a remote and stunning spot.
Wedding Anniversary Photoshoot at Castaway
Samira and Milan flew from Canada to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary in Fiji. They dreamed of doing an underwater photo session but they were concerned by their weak level of swimming. Castaway island resort was the perfect spot them!
Honeymoon photoshoot at Lomani sand bar
The underwater honeymoon photo session with this couple from Singapore was flawless! They picked Lomani island resort (an adult only slice of heaven) to enjoy a holiday for a few days after their wedding. Lomani Island resort is on Malolo Lai Lai island (Part of the Mamanuca island group), it is surrounded by stunning reef, and only five minutes boat ride from an extraordinary sand bank that disappears at high tide.
Underwater Trash the Dress in Fiji
Sarah and Ricky got married the day before we met at Malolo Island Resort (Mamanuca island group, Fiji) for their underwater “Trash the Dress” photoshoot. Sarah confessed that she wasn’t the most confident swimmer but it went perfectly well and she was a very beautiful mermaid.
Gay couple session at Denarau beach, Fiji
After 10 years together Katie and Fiona decided to fly to Fiji for a very special holiday. Together they exchanged their vows along the beach at Denarau in Nadi. It was an intimate wedding ceremony as there was only the two of them nevertheless emotional. After a few discreet tears joy and laughter took over.
Underwater couple photography at Tokoriki Island Resort, Fiji
Candy and Ernest, while enjoying a week of holidays in Fiji, wanted to bring home a special memory to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. The couple were like fish in the water. Tokoriki Island Resort is a very special place and absolutely perfect for their photoshoot.
