Honeymoon at Namale with Trash the dress at Savusavu Sand bar
Ted and Kelly embarked on a journey from the United States shortly after tying the knot to celebrate their honeymoon in the enchanting setting of Namale Resort & Spa. Kelly’s commitment to the moment was evident as she brought her wedding dress all the way to Savusavu, with the intention of wearing it for a captivating Trash the Dress photo session.
Our adventure began at the marina, where we boarded a fisherman’s boat destined for the breathtaking Savusavu sandbar. Against the backdrop of the vast Pacific Ocean, Kelly’s wedding dress graced the pristine white sand, creating a vision of pure elegance. We reveled in the isolation of our own private island, relishing an hour of photographic magic. Recognizing the dress’s weight, I suggested bringing a lighter alternative to facilitate underwater shots. Laughter filled the air when Ted valiantly attempted to carry Kelly out of the water, causing the dress to become drenched and surprisingly heavy.
The natural surroundings were nothing short of spectacular, leaving us in awe of the beauty that enveloped us in this magical location.
As the day drew to a close, I rendezvoused with Ted and Kelly at the resort for a sunset session. Their private villa, complete with an infinity pool and a breathtaking ocean view, nestled within the lush rainforest, was a sight to behold. We explored the resort’s exquisite grounds and strolled along the pristine beach, with an abundance of photography opportunities at our disposal. To conclude the day’s adventures, we captured Ted and Kelly’s playful escape, making it feel like they were running away from a scene straight out of Jurassic Park.
