Surprise renewal of Vows at Mana Island, Fiji
Leon told Vivienne that they were going to do a couple photo session for their 2 years wedding anniversary… But he had actually secretly planned a full renewal of vows ceremony with Mana island resort and I. The resort had organized a celebrant, a choir and a beautiful set up by the north beach.
It was on a picture perfect day: sunny without a cloud in the sky! The shade of blues between the ocean and the sky were unbelievable. You can see it beautifully captured in the drone video I made for them: here.
When Vivienne walked into the ceremony she had no idea what she was in for! The surprise was a success. She walked down the beautiful aisle, which was a traditional Fijian tapa (fabric or paper with tribal drawings) covered with fresh petals. The arch was made of sumptuous greens and artificial roses. The sounds of the Fijian choir made her entry even more sensational. They exchanged their vows, kissed and she cried tears of joy on the way out. They popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
We then went around the resort to capture them with different backgrounds: beach, forest, palm tress, a wooden jetty and the Mana island resort architecture; the entry of the resort is made with a strong architectural signature with its high triangle shaped ceiling and its two wooden traditional boats.
Enjoy the viewing and contact me for you own photography project!
