Elopement at Musket Cove, Malolo
Imogen and Max had an intimate wedding at beautiful Musket Cove Island Resort, a choice they did not regret! Here are Imogen’s words…
Why did you choose Musket Cove Island Resort? How was your experience with the resort?
I chose Musket Cove Island Resort as I had heard other brides rave about it online and it looked absolutely beautiful as well as being great value. It was absolute paradise and a dream, I loved every minute of it and I couldn’t have been happier with the beauty of the island and the fantastic service at the resort. Gloria, the wedding coordinator, guided us through every step and made the process smooth and easy.
Any tips to give for future brides about getting married in Fiji?
Enjoy the moment! It really is such a beautiful place to get married, remember to savour every minute of it.
How did you enjoy the day?
The day was a dream. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the weather was and the set up was amazing, with such gorgeous flower arrangements on the arch. There was a private romantic dinner set up for us on the peer which was magical. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier.
Who did your hair and make-up?
Ash from Hair and Makeup Perfectionist Fiji/’Team Perfectionist’. Ash was so talented, he was able to achieve exactly what I asked for and I was stunned by the final resort. He is a true professional, in a league of his own- I would recommend him to anyone.
Who were the entertainers? What do you think about them?
The ‘island boys’ played guitar during the ceremony, they were really talented and it created a beautiful atmosphere I was really glad we organised this.
Imogen’s dress was from ‘Jadore Evening‘, shoes were from Myer.
Max’s clothes were from ‘The Gentleman’s Club’ in Chatswood Chase, Sydney Australia and his shoes were from Myer.

How was your experience with the photographer 😉 ?
Anaïs is not just a photographer, she is a true artist. Max and I are thrilled with the photos, they were exactly what we asked for as well. Anaïs was able to achieve the romantic, creative shots that we dreamed of. Not only this, but every step of the way she was a true professional who was warm, friendly and instantly put us at ease and we had so much fun! Anaïs knew the island really well so she guided us to some really beautiful hidden places and had so many ideas for different shots. I would recommend Anaïs a thousand times over, you won’t regret it. We will cherish these photos forever.
